The Flip Phones are an indie acoustic-driven rock band from Arlington, Va. They blend modern musical stylings with classical inspiration to create quirky songs with catchy melodies and well-crafted lyrics. Music by The Flip Phones challenges listeners to ponder little moments and big questions.

Spinning Adrift, the latest album by The Flip Phones, launched in April 2025. The EP centers on searching for meaning and finding a sense of place in an increasingly complex world. Songs range from the upbeat tracks "It's a Sign" and "Polaris" to the more melancholy "Where the Space Falls Away."

The Flip Phones' debut album, Better in the Dark, was a 2022 WAMMIE award finalist for best rock album. It draws on the melodica stylings of Gorillaz and the songwriting of Neko Case, with inspiration from lyrical luminaries The Decemberists.​
